About Us
We are a local travel company based in Kyrgyzstan, sharing the stunning scenery of the Tian Shan mountains and the charm of nomadic culture.
Our founder, Nuriya, is a Kyrgyz guide who speaks fluent Japanese and has worked at the Embassy of Japan.
Combining Japanese attentiveness with warm Central Asian hospitality, we can flexibly arrange trips that cross borders.
Our base is Ashu Guesthouse, located inside a national park.
With a sauna and a swimming pool, it offers a comfortable retreat where you can recharge body and mind surrounded by nature.
What matters most to us is sustainable travel.
By keeping groups small to protect nature, and paying local guides and nomads fairly,
we aim to make travel a source of energy for the region.
Through safe, meaningful experiences, both our guests and our local community come away better off.
Why not come and discover something beyond sightseeing with us?

Kyrgyz driver
Rus
A Kyrgyz driver who keeps everyone safe.
He and Nuriya have been friends since elementary school, so the trust between them is rock solid. From the unpaved roads up to Song-Kul to the traffic jams in Bishkek, he stays calm in any situation and makes every ride comfortable.
He’s actually a man of many talents, with a background in real estate too.
He mainly speaks Kyrgyz and Russian, but he can manage very simple English – and jokes. Spot a cow walking down the road and he’ll call out “Steak!” He makes the journey that little bit more fun.
Languages: Russian, Kyrgyz
Takeshi Nagaoka(Takeshi Nagaoka)
My name is Nagaoka, and I am in charge of customers. I will support your tour reservations for Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
Languages available: Japanese, Mongolian
Almaty driver
Ernar
Our driver for the Almaty area. Despite his burly build, he drives very carefully and smoothly. He always keeps an eye on the temperature, how tired everyone is, and when it’s time for a break.
He runs a large horse ranch and a sauna, and his ranch, with views of the Tian Shan mountains, is a quiet favorite among our guests.
He’s very proud of his beautiful daughter, who is in junior high school, and often sends us photos of her.

Marketing & Customer Support
SugiYu Sugiura
I used to be a high school English teacher, but in search of unique experiences I became a writer and started moving back and forth between Japan and other countries. Mongolia got me hooked on Central Asia, and that led me to Kyrgyzstan.
What got me started was thinking, “Kyrgyz people love Japan so much, yet Kyrgyzstan is still barely known in Japan. What a shame.”
I’m bad at promoting myself, but I’m good at introducing the things I love, and I’ve made the occasional appearance on TV and in magazines talking about chairs and Kyrgyzstan. My family: one husband. I’m studying Russian, and someday I’d like to try my hand at Kyrgyz too.
