This tour is recommended for those who want to enjoy the great outdoors on horseback. You will also be able to enjoy the spectacular scenery as you ride up to an altitude of 3250m.
In addition to horse riding, you can also experience the culture and lifestyle of Kyrgyzstan by eating home-cooked meals at a local home and visiting the local bazaar.
The horse riding staff will give you a lesson on how to ride, so even beginners can relax. Enjoy horse riding in a landscape of rich natural green meadows, crossing mountain passes and visiting lakes.
This tour allows you to enjoy the great outdoors of Kyrgyzstan while being surrounded by the wonderful scenery of each different location.
The water of Lake Kol-Kogul is very clear, and because it is not crowded with many people, you can spend a relaxing time in the quiet nature.

After breakfast we will drive to Kyrgyzstan. We will have lunch at a local restaurant on the way.
On the second day, we will stay at the Ashu Guesthouse in the Chonchemin Valley. (Free upgrade to Ashu Resort with swimming pool is available)

Chong Khemin Gorge Tor Aigil Gorge (horse: 25 km)
After breakfast, you will be taught how to handle and ride a horse by our riding staff. A Japanese-speaking guide is also included.
Enjoy horseback riding while enjoying the rich nature of Chongkemin (horseback riding: 25 km, 6 hours). After crossing the first pass, we will set up camp.

After breakfast, we will cross a mountain pass (about 2900m) to reach Lake Korkoglu by horseback.

After breakfast, we will ride over the Korkoglu (3250m) pass to Kiziltash on horseback. (Horseback riding: 20 km, 6 hours)

Kiziltashuishikulu (car & horse: 80 km)
After breakfast, take a horseback ride down the mountain (10 km, 3 hours of riding). A car will pick you up.
After lunch, drive (1.5 hrs) to the guesthouse on the south shore of Lake Issyk Kul.
Overnight at the guesthouse.

North Bank of Issyk Kul - Bishkek (300 km by car)
After breakfast, we will drive to the ruins of the Silk Road. We will visit the ruins of Balasagun, the capital of the Kalahan dynasty, where the Brana Pagoda stands, and the ruins of Aku Besim, which is believed to be the site of the “Shattered Leaf Castle (Suyyab)” where Genjo Sanzo stopped on his way to India. Have lunch at a local private house.
After lunch, we will drive to Bishkek. Pick-up and drop-off at your hotel in Bishkek.

Bishkek - Almaty (approx. 250km, 5 hours)
After breakfast, we will go sightseeing in the city. We will visit the Osh Bazaar.
After that, we will cross the border by car and head for Almaty in Kazakhstan.
After dinner, the guide will take you to Almaty Airport.

What do I need to bring?

What should I check when entering Kazakhstan/Kyrgyzstan?
Checklist for entry into Kazakhstan
Japanese nationals are exempt from visa requirements for short-term stays of 30 days or less (each stay is limited to 30 days. Each stay is limited to 30 days, and the total stay is limited to 90 days within 180 days from the date of first entry into Japan.)
Passport must be valid for at least 6 months at the time of departure from Kazakhstan. If your passport is expired in 6 months or less, we recommend you to renew your passport.
You may be required to provide your accommodation upon ticketing in Japan and upon entry into Kazakhstan.
