Song-Kul Lake isn’t just beautiful \u2014 its true magic opens up when you ride across it.
We’ve created an Obon Special Tour that lets you ride halfway around Song-Kul, from the north shore to the south, at the time of year when the lake is at its most beautiful!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This special tour is for riders with canter experience (you don’t need to be advanced \u2014 a little experience with an easy canter is fine).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s a special tour where you travel like nomads, moving from yurt to yurt, and on the way back you stop at Issyk-Kul Lake to relax in hot springs and take photos with a hunting eagle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Song-Kul, the “lake in the sky,” lies at an altitude of about 3,000 m.
On clear days, the water reflects the sky and shines like a mirror.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Around Obon (mid-August), there is little rain, making it the season when the lake and sky look clearest all year.
On this tour, you’ll take your time enjoying Song-Kul on a long ride “halfway around” the lake, from the north shore to the south.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cantering along the breezy lakeshore is an exhilarating feeling like no other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
