Dessert Drink Shop “WEDRINK” Opens on Chuy Avenue in Bishkek | A Sweet New Spot for Anyone with a Sweet Tooth

Salam! This is Sugi from ASHU TRAVEL, offering horse riding trips through Central Asia’s breathtaking landscapes.

A new dessert drink café has opened in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.

It’s called “WEDRINK.”

It’s on Chuy Avenue, Bishkek’s main artery, close to the Manas statue, the Philharmonic Hall, and the Kyrgyz International University, so it’s easy to drop by. If you’re craving something sweet while sightseeing, stop in!

What Is WEDRINK?

WEDRINK is a dessert drink brand run by Runxiang, a company headquartered in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, China. It’s a café chain with many locations, mainly in Southeast Asia, including Malaysia and Indonesia.

Their signature items include fruit drinks, bubble milk tea, and ice cream.
Centered on drinks that are like “sweets you can drink,” the chain is especially popular with younger people.

The Bishkek location follows the same concept and mainly offers sweet menu items such as:
• dessert drinks
• bubble tea drinks
• ice cream
and more.

Location and Atmosphere of the Bishkek Shop

As of November 2025, there are two shops in Bishkek: one on Chuy Avenue and one inside the TSUM department store. There may be more in the future. This time, we visited the Chuy Avenue shop.

On Chuy Avenue, Easy to Fit into Your Sightseeing Route

The shop is on Chuy Avenue, one of Bishkek’s biggest main roads.
It’s very close to the Kyrgyz International University and the Philharmonic Hall, where the Manas statue stands,
making it an easy stop “while sightseeing” or “on the way home from university.”

Atmosphere and Size

Inside, there is a small eat-in space with about 6 seats.
Rather than a place for big groups to linger, it’s just the right size for a quick break, such as:
• catching your breath while exploring the city
• killing time before meeting someone
Perfect for a short pit stop.

The interior is casual, and there’s even a mascot character.

WEDRINK’s Menu and Our Impressions

Fancy Drinks from Around ¥200?! Menu Highlights

The menu features colorful fruit drinks made with peach, passion fruit, and more.
They look gorgeous, and even choosing what to order is fun.

  • Fruit drinks such as peach and passion fruit
  • Drinks with tapioca pearls
  • Ice cream

and more.

Prices start at about 120 som (just over ¥200), so it’s very cheap.

The Peach Milk Tea Is “Quite Sweet & Packed with Fruit”

This time I ordered the peach milk tea. What stood out was how much fruit was in it.

The taste is “on the sweet side.”
When you’re hungry, it feels like a nice treat, but right after a meal it might feel a little heavy.
Still, with big chunks of fruit, it’s a very satisfying drink if you want to enjoy it as a dessert.

Tips for Visiting

Wi-Fi & Power Outlets Available

The Bishkek shop has Wi-Fi, so you can use it without problems for things like:
• checking map apps
• replying to messages
and other light use.

No Restroom

There is no restroom in the shop.
It’s not suited to working for long periods or combining a stop with a restroom break, so it’s best to think of it simply as “a place for a short break with something sweet.”

A Refreshing Break During Your Bishkek Sightseeing

If you plan to walk around the Manas statue and the Philharmonic Hall, or are staying near the Kyrgyz International University, why not stop by for a sweet dessert drink and a breather?

If you have some time in Bishkek before or after an ASHU TRAVEL tour, you can also just ask your guide, “I’d like to stop by WEDRINK on Chuy Avenue” (we may not be able to take you, depending on the situation).
